Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place on 16 April 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. She is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor Joy also has 4 brothers and sisters, with one coming from each of her parents' prior marriages. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, and the family relocated from the city of Victoria in London. Taylor-Joy says the move into London was difficult and that she didn't learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was required to take her. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in school productions. When she was 16, she quit school in order to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an acting star began at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her as model for professional models.
