Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu, an American voice actress, producer, and singer, is also an actress. Liu is a gorgeous, skilled actress that has inspired numerous Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. Through a succession of appearances on popular TV shows, she gained fame as she was a part of the ensemble of the show Legal Comedy Ally McBeal where she played the villainous Ling Woo. It was a moment of fame that led to films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She then delivered an amazing performance as Japanese criminal lord O'Ren Ishii In Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Also, she portrayed leading roles in box office failures like Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Screen roles of a smaller screen like Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia failed to produce positive results. Southland, a critically acclaimed series of police dramas that included Liu in regular characters, helped her establish herself. Liu chooses her roles carefully in order to ensure she is not cast in an industry that is competitive. While she's been embracing the roots of her family, she has not allowed them to restrict her as an artist.
