Liz Vassey began her acting career at the age of nine years old and has since appeared in over fifty productions of musicals and plays. She relocated in New York at the age sixteen to be part of the cast of All My Children. Her first nomination was for a Daytime Emmy thanks to the effort she put into that show. Since then Liz made guest appearances in the form of a regular actor on twelve television shows. These include ER Maximally Bob Necessary Roughness Brotherly Love the Push Nevada Two and a Half Men The live-action adaptation of FOX's version of The Tick and most recently Season Two of the reboot of The Tick on Amazon. However she is most likely most well-known for her character as DNA tech Wendy Simms on the television show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation where she appeared for a total of five years. Liz is also famous for her roles in films and pilots. She has guest-starred in numerous television shows. Liz is a highly skilled writer and has a professional career as an actor. While she was on her final season of CSI in the series, she worked as a co-writer on an episode. Since then she's sold a total of six TV pilots and a television movie which are currently in development at NBC Freeform Universal Netflix and The CW among other networks as well as studios. Liz who has been a long-time marathoner recently made her debut director in the documentary feature film The Human Race which has just come out. The documentary is a focus on those who have completed their race over 50 years old. Liz Emmerichs as well as her husband David Emmerichs reside in Hollywood in California. Also, she starred as the mermaid on Flight of the Conchords, and the Shana Sosin-directed independent feature film The Rift.
