Lisa Edelstein, an American actor best known for House which is a Fox medical drama series. Born in Wayne in conservative Jewish tradition, she moved into New York City at the age of 18 and began studying theatre at Tisch School of the Arts. Then, in the course of time she was active in the club scene and made enough noise to get recognized by the media, concurrently, becoming aware of the devastation of AIDS. In the end, she teamed her fame and talent with the ability to write and compose to create a show called Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed an interview with MTV and was the host of Awake to the Wild Side. After Awake on The Wild Side was no longer airing, she started acting in movies and television, first with small parts. In time, her experience as an actor grew.
