Melissa Gallo was conceived in Lyndhurst New Jersey on August 19th,1982. "3" and 4" She was the daughter of Cuban parents moved from Cuba to U.S. as teenagers. The father of the family was an educator as well as a jewelry shop employee, and her mother worked as homemaker and hairdresser. Gallo, who was raised in Guttenberg prior to moving to Lyndhurst at the age of six, lived there. [6] She and her family members spoke Spanish in their home, but the family stopped requiring her and her brother to practice it after he ran into issues at school. 7 years ago, as a young child, Gallo enjoyed creating and producing plays. She then began having dance classes. By the time she reached ten years old, young, she began to become fascinated by acting following her viewing of The Secret Garden. Then, her parents invited her to attend acting classes. They were all very impressed by her and the other students. the classes because it was more about performance than appearance. She continued her dance and acting classes until the time she graduated. Gallo was concerned that she wouldn't be able to afford the tuition in New York University, which was her ideal school. Her parents secured a number of loans and used their savings to ensure that she could attend. They also made Gallo stay at their house[10until the time she went away.
